All of Us Research Program

As a National Community Engagement Partner in the All of Us Research Program (AoURP), Asian Health Coalition established the Asian Engagement and Recruitment Core (ARC) with 17 community-based organizations from across the US and 2 national Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI)-serving partner organizations. Together, ARC helps to shape and implement the All of Us strategy and roadmap to create culturally appropriate, cost-effective, and scalable education and outreach for AANHPIs.

Long Beach Disability Pride Celebration

APIDC attended the 3rd Annual Long Beach Disability Pride Celebration on Friday, July 26. The event was organized by former APIDC Board member, Jennifer Kumiyama, who serves as the City of Long Beach Disability Coordinator. Pride attendees included the mayor of Long Beach and other elected officials, consumers, allies, and service providers. APIDC co-sponsored the special event.

Whale-ness Season Event - Boston

This past weekend, our Program Coordinator in Boston, Maddie Ikeda, collaborated with Asian Women for Health at their Whale-ness Season Event 2024 at Carson Beach. The event was a summer celebration of community and wellness. Attendees enjoyed a sunny day filled with arts & crafts, music, yoga, and ice cream. Highlighted at the event was the All of Us Research Program, providing valuable health resources to the Boston community. Maddie and members from the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) actively engaged with beachgoers, helping them sign up for the program to gain insights into their health. It was a successful day of fun, learning, and community building.
